Soft and smooth on the palate, understated richness. White pepper, fennel notes. A knockout wine. I’m beginning to believe Perret is the best grower in Condrieu, the wines just age so unbelievably well. At home with Carsten and Olga. |

4/18/2024 - jlhkiss Likes this wine: 93 pointsOpened and paired with seared tuna and mixed salad. Glowing golden color. Butterscotch-infused nose brings white flowers, sweet honeysuckle, hints of kiwi-lime, dusty chalk, and baked apple pie. The palate is medium-light, round, and textured, bringing deep orange fruit (mandarin oranges, apricots, peaches) mixed with sour green fruit (green apples, pears, and lime) that flows into a lengthy finish of honey, orange sorbet, almonds, kiwi, and petrol. This has fantastic weight with balanced acidity and nice oily viscosity. Drink soon: 2024-2027. Technical score: 93. Enjoyment score: 93 |

4/7/2024 - beatles wrote: 95 pointsVery rich, intense, mango & peach here a long with the citrus, sound grip, well build for the future. Too young, but in a couple of years, you can start looking at this - and it will keep, I tink, the bitter touch at the ned promises well. Balance is extraordinary. |

3/31/2024 - ZaphodB Likes this wine: 93 pointsClear yellow colour. Nose is rich, generous, fruity yet elegant with notes of tropical fruit, peaches and honeysuckle. Mouthfeel is medium bodied plus, fruity, elegant, well balanced, with moderate acidity and notes of tropical fruit, peaches, fresh apricots and nutmeg, which gives a light, pleasant bitterness in the long, dry finish. |

3/30/2024 - WojteG wrote: 89 pointsThis is a very subjective review of mine. Why? Because this wine is full of licorice flavor and licorice is my least favorite one. I don't mind it with a nice proportion between others, but here it's simply too much. If you like licorice then go for this wine. |

3/29/2024 - pbaek wrote: NRLight golden color. Floral, buttery bouquet, tropical fruits. Fat, oily texture, but surprisingly airy and elegant palate with a display of honeyed fruits, butter, pear, peach. Next to the 2014 Coteau de Vernon this appears young and vibrant with many years left. There’s pepper and curry notes. Grand vin and one of the best wine buys, still, for my money. |

2/11/2024 - salarvcj Likes this wine: NRLast bottle of a case of 12. Ruby red with a hint of purple still left in it. Red and black fruits and a little eucalyptus on the nose. Dark red fruits and some minerality. Still has a surprisingly strong finish and acidity. Enjoyable but not as good as a few years ago |

1/30/2024 - ZaphodB Likes this wine: 90 pointsDeep ruby red colour with red brim. Nose is pleasant, fruity and spicy with notes of juniper wood, white pepper, bramble, cassis and a touch of licorice. Mouthfeel is still very youthful, rich and generous, medium bodied with powdery tannins, good acidity and notes of bramble, cassis, white pepper and a touch of licorice. |
