More apparent reductive notes, with struck-match & flint on the nose. Layered & textured mouthfeel enveloping the ripe lemony fruit. Leflaive Referts) this evening. Primary nose - citrus, lemons, just a faint hint of white-flowers. Minerality abound, this had class & purity and a nice finish! Should continue to improve given more cellar age. |

Like all white Burgundies of this era, I was already wondering if it was going to be alive and well. Well yes, the nose is lively, on honeysuckle, white peach, a trace of very diffuse woodiness and above all a very beautiful minerality which will take over with aeration. |
