Vegetable aromas not unlike reds from South Africa. I definitely tasted asparagus. The wine didn't seem to open up at all in the first few hours. Perhaps I have a flawed bottle of some sort but it is neither corded or oxidized. I would not serve this wine to guests unless they were South African or enjoyed South African reds. |
