The blue and red fruits are more expressive, with strong blueberry and violet flavours on the nose and palate. hits of dark cherry, cedar, fresh tiled soil, mint and chocolate. So far by bottle of the year for 2021. Perfect amount of structure and ripeness. Still have 1 2010 left and going to let it cellar at lease for another 2 years, as the freshness of this one indicated more cellaring potential. Great wine and vintage. |

Nose was similar to palate along with rose petals. Definitely in a good drinking phase and was still fresh enough to indicate further aging is possible. |

Palate was very similar, with a definite cured meat note. Dense, earthy and savoury, but bringing a healthy dose of sweet CDP profile. Really enjoyed it and it got better as we drank. Decanted for 45 minutes and drank over the coarse of 2 hours with a porterhouse steak. |

Amazing sweet rosemary, herbs de provence, rose petal, strawbery, balsamic and anise notes on the nose. Similar notes on the palate. Super complex and interesting while simultaineously providing delicious ripe fruit. Might be the best wine drinking experience I've ever had. Accompanied a meal of cotes de beouf. |

If anything, a slight touch more fruit would have improved the taste in my opinion, however, the nose was very fruity and the wine smelled delicious. Overall it had nice clarity and the flavours had a smooth, linear transition in the mouth. Still has a bit of bite to it that more time in the cellar would alleviate for those who enjoy softer tannin and less acidity, but was still enjoyable at this point. Has the structure to age much, much longer, but not sure it has the fruit to support it. Decanted 60 minutes prior to drinking and drank over 1 1/2 hours, during which it continued to open up throughout. |

Tannins definitely mellowing and flavours integrating well, with several years of life left. I have no doubt this will still drink well through 2022. Not a fruit bomb, but certainly enough to balance the more earthy, savoury notes well. Wish I had more in the cellar. |

Super refreshing and vibrant with delicious flavours of melon, peach and a bit of lemon. The ageing definitely helped make it more elegant and smooth, while still retaining all of its effervescence. Cherry, strawberry, methol, wet stone and graphite on the nose and palate. The fruit was ample but toned down relative to a young Cali pinot and did not have any of the sappy, cough syrup aspects I find a lot of young pinots have. Was more similar to an Ontario or Burgandy pinot. Still had great freshness with very well balanced acidity and minerality. Very slight amount of rustic, barnyard funk on the nose and palate which I presume reflects the ageing, but it didn't negatively impact it in any way. In the middle of it's prime and I suspect it will continue to drink well for several more years, however, I won't know as that was my only bottle. |
