Great simple pink. Had this with a bunch of fun light pizzas and it was about as versatile as one could hope for. Crisp, but not bracingly so, rasberry, strawberry, orange/hint of citrus. Just what we were looking for. Don't look for any wows, but it's an easy one to like.

infantcide on this one, but enjoyed it none-the-less. Give it a bit of time to mellow and integrate. As is it's got a bit of a bite, but nice dark fruits, spices, pepper and despite the upfront hit a round finish. With lamb and a heavy meal it showed some of its potential. Save this guy for another year or two, or decant for a few hours. We grabbed it after a brett contaminated bottle and instead watched it open up in the glass.

This puppy is drinking really well right now - probably not going much higher, but possibly a bit softer. As is, tannins are smooth - not much popping out at all - and it's built more upon acidity. Dark fruits, cedar, pinch of smoke, smooth finish, but not remarkably long. A good drink, but nothing that'll stand out in the memory down the road.

Drink this warm. Too cold and it doesn't give anything up. Just below cellar temp it has a nice botyrized nose but compared to an old sauterne we had open it didn't show so well. Save the next bottle for a while and see what happens.

Dug this. Remembering back a few days, a rich, full body, bit of toast, but the fruit - apple, pear, a bit of tropical further on - stood out and a lively acidity kept it fun. Any of that right? who knows....a lot of wine went down this week:-)

Shouldn't have popped this yet. Still tight, with a rather astringent back end. Decanted for 30 mins, some for around an hour, but just not enough. Unfortunately the crew polished off the bottle before I thought to save any for tomorrow and check out. Nice flavors, throwing off a good nose, but just not ready yet. 2007+.?.

I'm loving this style right now. Super nutty, toasty, hints of apple and fig, but only hints. You can tell it's seen some oak, but it is well integrated and a lovely example of roussanne. enough acidity to go well with food, (had with a roast chicken) but great with a hot loaf of bread just out of the oven and a few dabs of butter.

That classic SB nose. Soft, cherry cola, chocolate, strawberries. Doesn't stand out as a long ager - drink these up; fantastic now, if you like this style of pinot - about as far from a classic burg as they come, but very, very nice. I once heard someone describe CA pinot as whorish.?. This would fit in that category. Great with a simple rosemary roast chicken and a potato gratinee.

Fun. Citrus hit on the nose along with some sweeter honeysuckle and hints of apricot. Smells light. Richer body with the riesling bringing in white peach, apricot and a stony/mineral feel. Nice. Great with a salumi plate of snacks.

After opening the corked bottle this was a nice change. Crisp nose, honeysuckle (surprise!), apricot, ripe white peach. Full body for a sav, takes on the oak well but you'd be pressed to guess the oak flavors other than a bit of vanilla on the palate. Stony, smooth, crisp finish. Dig this. Ate with seared scallops in a garlic/lime/turbinado marinade and homemade pasta w/ parm. great w/ both.
