Pure, clean fruit. Not a single off note. Tannins are soft, finish is clean. Drinking beautifully now. This is a finesse wine, no oak. Love it.

Tasted this at the winery and loved it; brought two bottles home on the plane and the journey didn't hurt it at all. For the price, this can't be beat - it's a delicious everyday food-friendly wine. Aged in stainless AND concrete, it has a great balance of fruit and acidity.

10 years of bottle aging did this wine well. Nor ordinarily a big Calif. zin fan, but this one was superbly balanced along with copious amounts of fruit and enough acidity to be food friendly. A terrific pour for Thanksgiving.

This wine just knocked my socks off. I would never guess it was Verdejo. It is similar to a burgundy - body with stone fruits and minerality. Yes there's oak, but not it's in balance. This is a beautiful wine. Thanks to Jason at Ya Ya's in Denver for recommending it (just bought 1/2 case).

Worth cellaring as long as we did; this was like a Cote-Rotie with Washington flair. A perfect pairing with a smoked turkey breast.

Delicious. Will buy more, because it's worth cellaring. Varietally correct (mostly cab franc blend), great with food despite a pretty high abv (14.7%) and one of the best CO wines we've had to date.

Loved this wine. After a 1 hour decant, it displayed ripe blueberry fruit, spice and dusty tannins, all well integrated and balanced. More approachable than I was expecting. The wine simply got better and better i the glass as dinner went on.

Okay, if you want a paradigm of how good California chardonnay can be, this is it. Fabulous vanilla, apple and honeysuckle fruit; creamy body and surprising acidity. One harmonious fabulous wine. This is no Burgundy. But boy was it delicious.

Strong sour citrus on midpalate. As the wine opened up the fine vanilla and spice started to come through, along with good minerality. I have hopes this wine will benefit from more bottle aging; it certainly has the stuffing.
