Dr. Bürklin-Wolf Wachenheimer Altenburg Riesling

Far up on the slope over Wachenheim, right on the edge of the Palatinate Forest is the Altenburg, a wonderful wine location that is classified at Bürklin-Wolf as P.C., Premier Cru. The Riesling is slowly ripening in the protection of the Palatinate oaks, and in some cases the Altenburg at Bürklin-Wolf is read as the last location. As a result, the wine achieves an exciting intensity that would be expected from the Palatinate flagship winery, but at the same time a cool-distinguished way that is really fun. Many floral aromas and citrus notes, yellow -fruity - yes, but reserved, inherently. On the palate, complex freshness, good structure and a long -lasting saltness that fits perfectly to the next sip. Now with a few years of ripe fully with you, a great Riesling pleasure.
