Law Estate Wines

Producer website

Law Family Vineyards is centrally located between San Francisco and Los Angeles, along California’s Central Coast, directly west of Paso Robles; California’s fastest growing wine region. LFV is absolutely distinct in its varied microclimates, limestone soils, and 1800 feet of elevation. These unique attributes, coupled with an appellation already known to have a greater day-to-night temperature swing is what makes this vineyard site the best of the best. John Crossland at Vineyard Professional Services, with input from the Laws and winemaker Scott Hawley, designed and planted the fifty acres of primarily Rhone varieties in 2008. Sixty percent of the vineyard is planted in multiple clones of Grenache and Syrah with smaller blocks of Mourvedre, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Carignane, Tempranillo, Marsanne, Rousanne, and Clairette Blanche. Sustainable farming with minimal applications results in premium fruit.
