Tenuta Corte Pavone

Producer website

Tenuta Corta Pavone, is quintessential Tuscany. The entrance is down a majestic, cypress lined driveway, through wrought iron gates that frame stunning views of the vineyards of Montalcino, a Medieval hill town.
19 hectares of vineyards at Corte Pavone are used almost exclusively to grow Sangiovese grapes. The vines are exposed in different directions and there are several different soil types, all strongly characterized by Galestro, a dark shale. The complexity of the vineyard allows to produce Rosso di Montalcino, single vineyard Brunello and also Spumante.
Corte Pavone captures the individuality of each vineyard, selects the best grapes for each product and thus produces an extraordinary quality of wine. They follow this concept in particular for their Brunelli vineyards and select individual vineyards exclusively to produce certain wines, such as the Brunello Crus „Fiore del Vento“, „Poggio Molino al Vento“, "Campo Marzio" and "Fior di Meliloto".
