Titolo: Aglianico del Vulture DOC
Vineyard: Sited in Titolo district in the town of Barile, the heart of the production of the Aglianico, 650 meters above sea level.
Soil Origin: Volcanic
Grape Variety: Aglianico 100%
Total Owned Area: 7,00 Ha.
Current Planted Area: 6,00 Ha.
Growing System: Guyot short, tree, shed.
Vintage: End of the month of October, made entirely by hand using small boxes.
Production: Stemming and crushing. Traditional fermentation in red temperature not exceeding 24 °. Matured in new oak barrels for at least 12 months. Bottling at the end of the year following the harvest. Aging in bottle for at least 12 months before going into the market.
Tasting Notes: Intense ruby red color with strong reflexes. Nose broad and complex, fruity and airy, with clear hints of spices. Marked feelings of cherries and fruit jam, currants and rosemary, cinnamon and tobacco light hints of vanilla. Dry, warm, wide structure and long lasting aroma. A wine of outstanding personality, still very young and for to a great future.
Alcohol: 14,00 vol.%
