The dragon forces have aligned. We dialed back the whole cluster on the 2013, and it gave us a more precise wine. Complete and classic, we believe this is quite simply the best wine we have bottled to date. It is rich but gentle, plush and powerful at only 13.7% alcohol, with ripping acidity that will keep it fresh for extended aging. This wine will certainly reward patience, but is also explosively aromatic and exuberant right now. No need to shy away from checking in on a bottle by the time summer rolls around. A 2 hour decant is recommended.
