“From the calcareous, sandy-loam soils of the SW exposed Altesino, Macina, Pianezzine, & Castelnuovo dell'Abate Vyds @ 660-990 ft elev; Planted 1981/1987/1999 with a yield of 2.8 tons/acre; Fermented in s/s tanks for 15-20 days @ 82-86 °F; Maceration technique & length: Cold Soak Maceration; Racking, Pumpovers, and Aeration; 1-2 days; 7-10 days; Aged in 5,000-10,000 L Slavonian oak barrels (5-20 yrs old) for 36-42 mos, then 6 mos in bottle; 110,000 bottles produced.”
