Russ Morgan (COO)
Russ Morgan is a proven technology and operations leader who drives new business and product strategies based on deep analysis, inspired leadership and focused execution. Successes across technology, strategy, and business development. Russ was part of the initial work at Microsoft to shift focus from on premises software to cloud, building an early GTM offering for SharePoint Online. He scaled that business and operating model opening development and operations centers globally to support the emerging business. At Amazon Russ led teams in the US and Europe building products for Chaos Engineering, order anomaly detection, service graph traffic visualization, and hardware efficiency across the global multi-billion dollar Amazon.com retail business.
Russ holds a BS in Computer Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University.
Russ enjoys the journey having grown Syrah grapes in Walla Walla, climbed Mt. Rainier, run a marathon, and hand steered a 36' sailboat with 4 amateur crew for 19 days at sea from Seattle to Hawaii. Russ is also an active volunteer as a court appointed advocate for vulnerable children in Seattle family law court cases.
