August 21, 2022 - Last bottle and it was great with a dinner at friends that ordered Snow's bbq. Decanted for 4 hours to get some air. Highly recommend this based upon my prior notes. Note on bottle prep: this wine has tons of fine sediment, so useful to do some decanting. Also rinsed bottle before refilling and transporting.

Sometimes a wine lands great with certain food, and this wine did that both before dinner and with bbq. I have some of the more recent years of the Phelps Cab. Hopefully they'll be as enjoyable. Cheers.
