  April 3, 2009 - My first bottle of '03, I'm somewhat disappointed. Immediate nose of barnyard funk that dissapates somewhat but never fully recedes. Full of juicy red fruit with a bit of leather and pencil lead. More of a cross of St. Julien and Grave rather than Paulliac. If it weren't for the nose, this would be an 89-90 point wine for me.
