April 3, 2009 - The most dominant smell is eucalyptus or menthol. And then baked cherry and strawberry. Dry, slightly sour, not bitter, mild temp (despite 14% alcohol) and very soft tannins. More cherry (reminds me of Pinot Noir) smells in the mouth and a short (but not bad) finish. Medium body in mouth, smooth texture. Overall a pretty simple wine, in balance, and fantastic and delicious for the the pricepoint. A great wine to buy by the case.
