  September 10, 2022 - After a *very* long week I opened a bottle of riesling to go with some roast chicken. Most of my wine was offsite due to a floor replacement but I saw a 2019 Selbach Oster in the fridge and grabbed it
  
  I was amazed at how concentrated and vibrant it was. That is, until noticing I had accidentally pulled one of the Ur Alte Rebens I intended to hold for another decade.
  
  Pretty great now so I have no regrets but if the 2012 is any guide it will be even better in 7+ years.
