  April 10, 2009 - Ruby red color, clear body, even toned. Medium concentrated nose of red berries, sweet vanilla, like an ice cream cone with sprinkles. Medium-light body, after some exposure the soft fleeting tannin. Pronounced strawberry flavor, monotone. There is a presence of residual sugar and at 13.5% alcohol for a Zinfandel it may not be a surprise. Significant heat and a lackluster short finish. Lacks balance, lacks anything unique, pass this one up for better values.
