October 18, 2022 - 92/93. Loves air needs between 2-3 hrs aeration! Has lifted aromas of violets, earth, leathery chalky cherries+raspberries. Its medium bodied supple and stylish decently oaked, red and black fruits palate has lovely depth, freshness and length, ends with some grip. 13.5%. Excellent value at 16 Euros. Lay down 5-10 years.

10/18/22, 9:47 PM - Great vintage in Toscana, isn't it? I decided to store some wines including Brunello of Carpineto.

10/19/22, 12:17 PM - 2016 in Toscana was an amazing vintage and the Brunello looks beautiful. Is it a Sangiovese or something else?

  • vlzat commented:

10/19/22, 10:30 PM - Brunello is local clone of Sangiovese in Montalcino, synonyms of Sangiovese Grosso.
