  April 11, 2009 - Decanted for 1 hour and served with grilled steak. Inviting nose of currents and spice. Rather simple and one-dimensional on the palate with close-to-overripe fruit flavors and a flat finish. Not nearly as good as previous bottles, but it didn't taste like it was headed downhill. No discernable evidence of TCA, but I guess it's possible this was very slightly corked, resulting in the muted flavors ?
