October 29, 2022 - Ok I am amending my earlier review. I was wrong. More air does help the wine. Poured full glasses and tried again and the wine is much more full and more structured. It is still not amazing but it is way better than Chianti. At this point not sure what to recommend as far as decanting but air significantly improved it.

11/17/22, 5:29 AM - I go to Italy quite often and have never visited a winery or done a tasting there. We did do a tasting in Barbaresco at the church one day. My tastings involve going to a local mercato and just buying some bottles there and drinking them in our room.
