November 9, 2022 - Feels a lot lighter than the 14.7% abv advertised. This is a light- bodied Zin , not at all the typical sweet and brambly, in your face CA zin. I liked it quite a bit for that - just have to remember that if I want a powerhouse zin I need to get it elsewhere in the cellar. Another taster called it a pinot lover’s zin and that is a fair comment. At dN prices (I think this was $8 per btl) the value is insane even if this would not beat , say, Carlisle or Once and Future.
