  April 13, 2009 - Garnet complexion. Soil, raspberry, and vanilla in medium concentration nose. Medium body, medium plus acid, slightly rough small grained tannin. Cherry, a touch of pencil lead and a floral hint. Cabernet Franc black pepper on the medium plus finish. Good qualities that just don't come together in the right timing to be anything but a reliable dinner companion, the mid-palate is hollow. 50% Merlot 50% Cabernet Franc.
