  November 5, 2022 - Wine Tasting in Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi (Montecarotta, Staffolo, Jesi): Tasted at the winery, 7th in the line up. 95% Sangiovese, 5% Syrah aged for two years in large oak barrels. This wine was made by the recently passed Lucio Canestrari because he enjoyed having a red wine to drink. This was red fruited, soft and easy to drink with earthy notes and a nice finish. We bought a bottle in honor of Lucio and toasted him over dinner.
