  November 12, 2022 - First from my case of six. Decanted 2 hrs
  
  Dark brooding ruby purple with some definite tawny hints now. The nose is fabulous. Dark berry fruit, underbrush. a slight funk with the hint o a distant autumn bonfire. Midweight on the palate but dark and but dark, brooding and powerful. Plenty of spicy oak. Something not quite right on the finish though which seems to be a bit jagged and harsh. Maybe this this bottle isn't quite 100% so I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt for now
