  November 15, 2022 - This is one of the more surprising tasting experiences I can remember of late. I had tasted this wine back in 2019 and it showed a lot of promise, but was tough to drink due to the overwhelming tannins and acidity. However, even though this is a screw cap, it significantly tamed itself. My surprise, however, is how much this Petite Syrah is blind tasting like a terroir driven Super Tuscan. This had loads of plumb, red and black fruits, some black tea spices, vanilla and chocolate, all supported by an exquisite sense of place and earth. Overall, this was fantastic!
