  November 20, 2022 - Tasted after a 2 1/2 hour decant & still required a double aeration.
  Medium ruby in colour with a garnet tinge & restrained aromas of red fruit & rose petals.
  On the palate, full bodied tart red fruit, cranberry/raspberry/sour cherry, red licorice, floral/rose petals, sweet tobacco, high acidity, high soft tannins with a long finish to spice/pepper & sour cherry.
  A better showing than the previous bottle consumed 5 years ago, and good future cellar potential indicated.
