December 2, 2022 - Certainly among the best bordeaux wines I have had, the deliciousness, depth and balance... but to be honest with myself, if I drank this blind next to a Leo Barton, and a Calon segur (for example), it might be really tough to tell which one is which.
Clearly a bordeaux of high pedigree.

12/4/22, 2:28 PM - 2019s! Were they all 2019s you sampled blind? How long were they decanted for?

1/1/23, 6:03 AM - I agree about your comment on it being hard to distinguish the '19 PB from other wines like CS. Having had both of those wines recently, though, I would say that the PB comes across as more confident, regal and smooth oin its finish and an emphasis on so many pure fruits while the Calon is more exotic and spicy, and less smoothly confident on the palate. But they both rock!
