  April 19, 2009 - After opening the bottle it had a huge alcohol smell after which came the smell of grape. I drank a little, and wasn't really sure what to think about it. So, I put it in a decanter for an hour. At that point, it still had an alcohol smell which didn't really do anything for me. <shrugs> I'm a newbie so I can't put into words what was going on, I just know I really didn't like this wine. On a side note, although I only drank perhaps 2 glasses at most over 2 hours, this wine gave me a wicked wine headache the next day...which is something I normally don't get adter so little consumption. YMMV
