I don't know how to describe it except to say it was way past its prime. I did open another bottle of this a month ago and that one was very enjoyable. (I forgot to post a note). So recently, I'm 2 of 3 that were drank too late. I have 4 more in storage and I'll pull of them to drink in the next month and report back. Looking back, it looks like I made 3 separate purchases of this wine, so I'm hoping if I had a bad batch, I'm done. Cheers. :|
