December 22, 2022 - Decanted two hours. Cab was forward initially but then the Merlot came out at hour four. Old World nose and medium body and mouth feel. Nice cassis, tobacco & leather notes. Excellent wine. Very smooth but nice complexity without being heavy handed. Nose after four hours was unmistakably Old World and almost forest floor funky. My kind of wine.

12/25/22, 5:25 AM - We opened one last night and it was drinking really nicely. I think it will also age well (I enjoy aged wines too) but this was really tasty. Thanks for the inspiration.
