  December 26, 2022 - A pleasant upside surprise. Of von Kesselstatt's Grosse Lagen, Goldtröpfchen is generally the one that I appreciate the least. Orange-gold in color, lively, biting acidity to go with a fairly expansive body, in slightly underripe (not a negative) yellow peach fruit in nose and mouth, typical of Goldtröpfchen. Drink over the next few years, I would guess. Cellared since original release.
