Community Tasting Note

  • Jonnhy99 Likes this wine: 91 points

December 27, 2022 - Last of the tasting. Aromas of oak, forest floor, cedar, blackberry, and perfume. The palate is the same as the nose with some dried herbs, vanilla, and a hint of plum. Long finish

Medium plus acidity with tannins that you think is not bad until the very last minute to remind you it needs more time or good decant. Have some protein with it and you are ready to go.

1/4/23, 6:50 PM - Have another wine on standby just in case you need more time, a 375ml wine is my advice lol cheers

1/4/23, 10:09 PM - With the group I am meeting up with, my 2010 Lascombes will be by far the YOUNGEST wine.. So I am sure there is time to drink my buddies' other wines first, before they try my humble Margaux!

    Thanks again Jonnhy99!
