December 26, 2022 - Good but I would not call it a success for Mouton, nor for the vintage. It has a decent structure, with a bit of rusticity and slightly angular tanins. Good length, medium bodied, not much fruitiness nor freshness. The wine itself is pretty nice, but there is nothing really special in it. I mean, one can have the same level of pleasure with hundreds of ordinary wines from the area. Just a good ordinary claret at the wrong price point.
