  January 7, 2023 - Very dark ruby color, with no sign of aging. Decanted just before drinking. Full bodied. Cassis and plum fruit, with a hint of graphite pencil. Was hoping for other Bordeaux-like secondary notes, but never came. Velvety on the palate, but still some fine tannins left, so I’m imagining it could last a couple more years easily, so will hold onto my remaining bottle.
