  April 27, 2009 - I'll give this an average score. It is barnyardy on the nose, but that mostly blows off letting through dark berries and spice. It tastes mostly like bitter vegetal green pepper, funky earth and bitter tannin. I can think of foods it might not clash with but non that it would enhance. It isn't a dump out bottle, but there is really no reason to drink this wine except on a weeknight just to get it out of the way.
