January 27, 2023 - Oily and mineral, with some round tropical fruits. It has incredible weight, intensity; interest. It’s a truly singular wine and I can’t wait for the one I have on the way.

12/13/23, 6:06 AM - Thanks for the note! I just picked up a couple of these after Luis G’s WA review of Comando G. Sounds like these are a bit unicorny - very hard to find worldwide. Any comparables you can think of?

12/13/23, 1:33 PM - To be honest, I haven't had much grenache blanc. Some have compared this wine to the Rayas blanc, but I've not tasted one yet. There was an interesting wine I had from the Languedoc called Domaine de l'Horizon Côtes Catalanes Blanc which evoked some similarity. Both evoked thoughts of a a fruit-forward Jura chardonnay. Havent' had the Grange des Peres white but that's kind of unicorn-y too and I can report back soon. JV
