January 30, 2023 - Truly salty and worth the higher price
I wish I could drink this all the time but the price makes it a bit more of an occasional treat. There's clear briny salt on both the nose and the palate, but the floral and caramel notes are stronger yet. It's complex, sweet and delicious from start to finish. The sea-aging seemed like a party trick when I first heard of it but I've loved every pour of this I've had over the years.

2/3/23, 11:23 PM - Hey A4E, agree the taste this one has is unique and good. If you come across Rogue Dead Guy whiskey it is also sea aged, more bite, less expensive…cheers

2/6/23, 2:29 PM - Thanks for the tip!

Rogue was the main brewery that got me way, way into craft beer years ago.

I saw that Shakespeare Stout cleaned up at GABF every year, had to try it, and launched into dark beers and every other kind after trying it.

And after all these years I still haven't tried their spirits! Probably time to change that.

    Cheers mate
