  February 7, 2023 - To Kalon and Dr. Crane Night (Charlie Palmer Steak NYC): Decanted for over 45 minutes before pouring. This started slow, as it tasted a little flat, compared to the other To Kalon we had alongside it. But the longer it sat in the glass (and the decanter) the better it got. By mid meal, this was tasting great. Complex, well structured, maybe not as full bodied as the rest of the wines we had, it was instead, elegant.

  2/25/23, 7:23 AM - Sagan99, the other To Kalon was 2013 Bacio Divino Cabernet Sauvignon Janzen Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, which I thought was ever so slightly better than the Mondavi. The other flight consisted of 2 Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Cabs. a 2013 Realm, and a 2012 Paul Hobbs.

  2/25/23, 7:24 AM - By the way, I've had th 2013 Mondavi To Kalon, and it was very good! I've never had the 2014, but I'm sure it is similarly tasty. Nice pickup at auction!
