macaujames Likes this wine: 90 points
February 25, 2023 - Love the funky aromas. A Bit youthful chunky and introverted with highish acidity. 13%. Drink in 5-10 years. Needs 60-90 mins aeration. A Cassoulet wine.

3/3/23, 11:06 AM - Chateau de Chambert I had about 30 years ago and it was a bit austere wine with beautiful chalky irony aromas and a closed palate. But I think the 2014 is a modern well oaked bio wine with the same chalkiness, freshness but with a bit more length and depth. Just give it 3 hrs+ aeration and drink it with something like Duck or Cassoulet or Duck pate or truffles. When you visit the Chateau you can do a truffle tasting! I would think that the bio status should give clarity and precision to the wine! Please let me know!
