  March 4, 2023 - Pleasantly aromatic especially upon initial opening. Deep flavors of currant, plum, black pepper, spice and toasted oak are balanced through the med-full frame. Finishes a bit short but with a nice reprisal of black fruit and touches of oak. Flashes some fine, dusty tannin as well at the close. A very good QPR and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again from this producer in strong vintage years. Mature. Drink or hold short
