  March 10, 2023 - This light golden Chardonnay was 80% barrel fermented and 20% stainless steel tank fermented, subsequently aged for eight months in French oak (19% new) and allowed to undergo 100% malolactic conversion. It offers aromas and flavors of Meyer lemons, stone fruits, baked apples, vanilla and spicy oak. Medium-bodied, low-to-medium in acidity and without any heat from its 13.9% alcohol, it retains good mid-palate density and closes with a medium-length, woody finish. Bottled unders screwcap, this showed no reductive notes upon opening. It represents good value for those who enjoy the oaky style. Drink now-2025.
