March 22, 2023 - Rare to find this once in a lifetime wine. CM 1er Plantes with Musigny blended in. Medium dark red. Classic Mugnier nose of ripe sweet red cherry. Palate of sweet red fruit, clean and pure. Medium length and some complexity. Impeccable balance and and so delicious. Typical Mugnier from a riper year. Compared to the Bonne Mares 2015 it lacks some stuffing and complexity but has all the Mugnier characteristics. So good.
