  April 1, 2023 - Not rating this as too young—maybe 2 years from now I will? Immediately after opening and decanting, the nose is straight up candied walnuts and tart berries. Rather alluring. 1 hr mark, same, with baked plum. Palate has some fruit but tannins are waaayyyyy grippy. 4 hr mark, this is drinkable and even good, but it’s still too young. The tannins are still super grippy, and the fruit, nuttiness and hint of mint are not given a chance. This is gonna be GREAT one day. I’m so glad I have other bottles. It’s a keeper, friends—for down the road.
