  May 10, 2009 - The 1989 Chateau Grand-Puy-Ducasse has a dark ruby colour with slight amber at the rim. On the nose, hint of black fruits, smoky, vanilla, cedar wood, smoky. On the palate, ripe fruits, meaty, oak and spice. It is medium bodied with some tannin remaining. The finish was somehow short and diluted.
