  April 7, 2023 - This was a very good bottle of wine. I could tell that Melka is the winemaker as it's his style. It was opened 1 hour prior to dinner, it did not need a decant. Nicely built, very smooth and full of flavor.
  
  I agree with Agelvis's review from their 2016. There is nothing special going on with to warrant the high price of admission. We had 2 other bottles that were much cheaper (not hard to do) and better.
  
  95-96 points. Rating it 95 because of the high price point.

  4/9/23, 10:07 AM - In my humble opinion you can get the same wine experience in Lail’s J Daniel Cuvee for half the price. I’ll add that I prefer Melka’s whites over reds with regards to style. Instant gratification vs. patience. Great notes!
