  April 17, 2023 - Four hour decant. This was good but not mind blowing. I expected more from an overpriced Realm library wine!
  Lots of fruit and a touch of licorice and spice, but nothing very special in my view (or my husband who is a great ‘naïve’ taster and has no expectations). A touch better the next day but not much has changed. I honestly preferred the ‘17 Bard that I had last week.

  This has often been my feeling about this wine. At its price, I just don't get it. It's never held itself to the cost, terrible qpr, IMO. I can only imagine what it will shoot up to next, since they now own the vineyard, too? Or, maybe since they own it now and don't have to source the fruit, they'll drop the price $150/bottle and more people will be willing to buy it? Nah, not their MO, who am I kidding?

  4/22/23, 4:06 AM - And I paid more than 150 since it was library…. Also the ‘15 moonracer but that was much more ‘worth it’ Although I don’t disagree the pricing has become outrageous
