  April 30, 2023 - Three bottles left over from a tasting - about 1/5 full - 2015 il Poggio GS, 2016 il Poggio GS, 2016 Fontodi Sorbo GS. Tasted the following night - 24 hours in give or take. The 2015 il Poggio was an also ran - clearly the lesser of the three wines - maybe a 92. The remaining two were very very close. For now I give the 2016 il Poggio the edge....for now. These two are in my view as good as chianti gets and both have a great future.
