  May 14, 2009 - Harsh bitter tannins swamped what little fruit was apparent in this wine. The nose was incredibly closed to start off with, eventually some blackcurrant fruit emerged but the nose remained one dimensional. Some blackcurrant fruit in the mouth, but a short finish and a bitter aftertaste from the tannins. Sadly, the tannins outlasted the fruit in this wine.
