  May 29, 2023 - There's really no excuse for opening this bottle so young. Little on the nose when it was first opened, dark purple, initially red fruits, cherry and blackcurrant, but a lack of balance of tannins at the moment. A big wine. Day two slightly softer but still very strong with too much acidity. I will try to wait another five years.

  We hold our 389 in the cellar till it hits a decade. We're just cracking our last '13s and after, we'll bring up the 2014 case into the cooler. The comment that you've left simply reinforces the fact that 5 years in is just too young for these beauties.
